There are a few routes (from downtown to St. Vital or just in downtown area), stopping at some of their public art. The WAC member talks about the art work, why it was commissioned, who the artists are, etc.

Admission is $8 for 65 yrs and under or $7 for 65 and older, CAA members can buy one admission, get one free, or you can hike, cycle or snowshoe into FortWhyte and admission is free. We will meet at 10:00 am and ski and/or snowshoe for 2 hrs then have lunch.

Cultural East Exchange Walk

Sean recently completed a series of public artworks looking at the history and change in the East Exchange as it evolves as one of Winnipeg's oldest neighbourhoods. Paddle Pinawa Channel

This is an intermediate to possibly advanced canoe and kayak, full day trip down the scenic Pinawa Channel from the town of Pinawa to the Old Pinawa Dam Historic Park site (provincial park pass required).  It includes fast water through rocky areas, rapids and at least one portage. We will have lunch on the way and tour the old dam site at the takeout.
