Eva Pip has a special interest in aquatic biology and chemical contamination of water bodies. Amongst the many briefs she has presented to government, readers may recall her recent commentary on water quality issues relating to Plan Winnipeg Review 92, Advice to Environment Canada on the protection of Winnipeg’s water supply from Shoal Lake and a brief to the Clean Environment Commission on Repap’s proposed expansion. She extends her professional interests beyond lecturing and research duties at the University of Winnipeg into many fields. Her approach to environmental ethics, the integration of environment and economy and the impacts of water quality on health make her an extremely busy consultant to organizations such as ours.
