Honorary Life Member 1968
Mr. Ed Robinson is a well-known horticulturalist, an archaeologist and a long-time ornithologist. He has contributed weekly migration and nesting reports to Chickadee Notes since 1921. At that time the reports were from his home at East Bay until 1944, when he moved his home to Wawanesa. In his nursery there he has worked on cross-breeding and developing new hardy strains of plants, at the same time building up a beautiful sanctuary for the birds. He continues to send his bird observations to the Free Press Bird Column. He has a complete set of Chickadee Notes. He is an avid collector of artifacts and each year puts on a fine display at the Rock and Mineral Club.
