Manitoba’s native prairies are under numerous threats from development, and with this a suite of birds which depend on grasslands for their very survival on grasslands. We will examine the numerous species of bird which breed in native prairies and how to identify them in the field. We will also workshop on what can be done to prevent their complete loss from our province.
