Time: Meet before 9:30 AM. Launch before 10:00.

Launch location: Happyland Park from the west end of Prosper Street. There is a large grassy area to launch from.

Description: We will paddle upstream to the culvert at the Windsor Park Golf Course, and then turn around and paddle downstream to the launch location (14K). Some of us may also then want to paddle downstream to Marion Street and beyond ... and back to the launch site. The Seine River within Winnipeg is fairly shallow and very popular, and there are dozens of potential locations to disembark if needed.
Paddling the Seine

Lunch: We’ll stop for lunch at a good location along the river at noon.

Boats: If you don’t have a canoe or kayak, we can try to partner you with a canoe owner who is looking for a bow paddler.

Rating: Novice (bow paddler in the canoe of an experienced stern paddler) to intermediate.

Bring: Lunch, water, sunscreen, your name tag, and extra warm clothes.
