Location / Time: Meet at the Seven Sisters parking lot just below the Hydro dam (Seven Sisters Generating Station) at 9:50 for a 10:00 AM departure. Don’t expect a washroom at the parking lot, but we will stop at the port-a-potties by the parking lot at the start of the Pinawa Channel and at the swinging bridge where we'll have our lunch.  Car and bike pooling options from the 59er, leaving at 9:00 AM.

Description: We'll cycle from the Seven Sister dam to Pinawa, alongside Natalie Lake, through the boreal forest, and alongside the Winnipeg River in Pinawa to the Pinawa Channel.
The route is gravel or dirt and flat, but may involve some uneven terrain and cycling through or around the odd water puddle, depending on the weather leading up to the event.
From Pinawa we'll cycle to the swinging bridge, where we’ll eat lunch,  before returning to Seven Sisters.
The total distance cycled will be approximately 30K return. Expect a few stops along the way to forest bathe, to breathe in the fresh air, and to admire and/or identify some birds and plants.

Bring: A hybrid or mountain bike, lunch, water, sunscreen, spare tube and repair kit, name tag, and binoculars (optional).
