Hike 'n Hunt for the Crocus: Western MB

A full-day hike around Neepawa and Minnedosa around crocus time. A full-day 12-14 km. hike scouring Arden - crocus capital of Manitoba - for those spring flowers, and a tripartite offering of trails around Neepawa and Minnedosa. The grand finale is the first spring dinner of the season in Minnedosa. For Nature Manitoba members only.

Wander the wonderful Whiteshell trails

Explore the north and mid-range areas of Whiteshell Provincial Park along its many trails (ca. 15 km. worth), including sections of the great Trans Canada Trail. This is an all-day hike with a late return to Winnipeg.

Hike 'n Eat: Spring Down Highway 59

We shall hike around all day (10-12 km. worth) down the trails spanning Highway 59 south of Winnipeg, concluding with a spring spaghetti dinner hosted by the Tolstoi Heritage Centre. Mantario Trail north end day hike

Rock 'n Stroll: Stony Mountain, Stonewall and Argyle

Join Rose for a rockin' hike through the 440 million-year-old quarries of Stony Mountain (collecting permitted) and Stonewall, tour the little village of Argyle which has a remarkable number of historic structures, and test out a small section of the 106 km.-long Interlake Pioneer Trail on the Prime Meridian. Registration commences July 24.

Walking tour of the Frasers Grove neighbourhood in East Kildonan

From the start of Kildonan Drive up to the Selkirk Settlers bridge with stops in between. Drink recommended, snack optional. We'll be stopping for ice cream on our way back.  The hike will take between 2.5 to 3 hours.  Hoping to be done by 1pm.

Guided Cultural East Exchange Tour

Take a walk along Lily Street and learn the history of the area through art and sculpture with artist, Sean McLachlan. Sean recently completed a series of public artworks looking at the history and change in the East Exchange as it evolves as one of Winnipeg's oldest neighbourhoods. Tour limited to 20 people. After the tour, lunch together at a restaurant in the area for those interested.

Walking tour of permaculture gardens
