Join Les McCann for a ski this evening. Stars will be bright. Almost no moon.Park staff have been very good at keeping the trails groomed. Bring headlamp and thermos of hot beverage. Temp will be -21c but feel like -31c so face cover and all layers will be necessary. Meet in the main parking lot.
 
 

Join Kathy Picard to ski the Otter Falls (11km) and Seven Sisters (7km) ski trails. Lunch at the warm up shelter on the Otter Falls trail. 

Camp at Moon Lake In Riding Mountain National Park on the first weekend of 2014.  Access to a cookshelter with wood stoves is available but sleeping is done outside in whatever tent or shelter you provide.  Saturday we will snowshoe the moon lake snowshoe trail and may do a cross country ski trail on Sunday morning.  This campground provides a pit privy, and car access.

Join Lesley Andrews for a Monday through Friday trip to the Mantario cabin. You have to have proper gear and be able to ski about 20 km on lakes and portages but you don't have to be a speedster .
 

Join Roger for our inaugural hike for this year. Water proof footwear will be a necessity but spring will be in the air.
 

Join Les for this anual Spring hike. This is a strenuous but hugely satisfying full day outing. Rocky rough terrain with wonderfully scenic views including numerous outlooks over Hunt and West Hawk Lakes.

This outing will consist of 2 groups, one cycling and one hiking. Pot-luck BBQ after the hike.

August Join Sean to Hike the 63Km Mantario Trail on the September Long weekend. This
challenging hike will be sure to test your summer fitness level.
Expressions of interest can be sent in anytime, with more
detailed planning among those interested taking place closer to
the event. The group can set mileage goals based on experience

Brian Burrows from the Roseisle area would like to
welcome us to a few different hikes in the picturesque Roseisle
area. We would start with a hike in the ravine area of his
property , then a hike on the Miami-Thompson section of the
TransCanada trail leading to a look out tower followed by a
wiener roast . 
 

Hike certain sections of the extraordinary trail
system through Kenora and Keewatin in northwestern Ontario.

Join Les for this long weekend three day canoe on the Souris River from Souris River and Hwy 348 to with overnight stays at Souris Bend and Wawanesa. Scenery and history guaranteed. Wildlife sightings potential.

A second work party to prepare the cabin for the
summer program. People should have at least 4 days available ( including the 2
travel days where we canoe to and back from cabin ) to do some
work . Call Dale for details and he could possibly arrange for a
canoeing partner.

This trip has been changed to canoe the Experimental Lakes area. Trip is potentially full.

Join Deniela to cycle the Grand Opening of the South Shore Trail at Falcon Lake.This event will officially open the newest section of the Border to Beaches trail. We will gather for food and music after at the Falcon Trails resort.

Join Les for a hike in North Beaudry Park to be followed by the Headingley United Church Fall Dinner at 4:00 pm for those that have dinner tickets. Pre purchase of tickets are a requirement and tickets are sold out. Persons can still join us for the hike.
