Yellow Ribbon Greenway Trail Hike

I will hike the Yellow Ribbon Greenway Trail . We will meet at 10 am  at Silver and Ferry at Legion Memorial Park where there's parking . Dress for the weather and have appropriate footwear . Bring water and snacks . I don't think you need to bring a lunch as hike should be finished shortly after noon . We could stop by at Living Prairie Museum on Ness.

Souris Hike

Seine River Paddle

Please join me on a paddle from the Lagimodiere- Gaboury Park ( the meeting point at 10 am )  and canoe upstream and come back downstream . Total paddling is 2-3 hours long .

With the recent rain the river level should be good.

Sandilands Forest Area

Location has been changed as the Mantario Trail is closed . I will organize a hike going to Sandilands Provincial Forest . I thought of going up north on Highway 59 but I am thinking that with situation in Whiteshell the traffic could be horrible .

Bring enough water , lunch , appropriate clothing , footwear and sunscreen .

St Boniface Cycle

We will meet at Robin's Donuts at 10 am  and go towards Whittier Park , Forks , Lyndale Drive , Egerton and through around Southdale with the Biphop Grandin Greenway and back . Cycle around 15 km an hour  for a little more than 2 hours give or take .Bike helmet is mandatory .Bring water and snacks.

Centennial Trail Hike in Whiteshell Provincial Park

Whiteshell Provincial Park adventure

Lack of snow: we will do a 10-13 km. hike in Whiteshell Provincial Park (area to be determined), complete with outdoor BBQ potluck. Some snow: this clever trip leader will think of something else that hopefully would facilitate a BBQ. Lots of snow: go snowshoeing. For those who are ready for anything, please register after December 2.

Bird's Hill Ski

Please join me on a ski outing at Bird's Hill Provincial Park. There could be more than 1 speed depending on the number of participants but people will not be left alone.

We will meet at 10 am in  the Perkin's parking lot in eastern part at corner of Lagimodière Blvd ( Hwg 59) and Regent . If somebody needs a ride please contact me.

Trip is full. Ski to James Lake cabin in Turtle Mountain Provincial Park . The cabin is booked for Saturday Feb 18 th and 19th and there are no cabin fees . It's a 5 km ski to cabin with some uphills . People interested in coming should have a cold weather sleeping bag even if in cabin it gets quite warm when the stove is going . The cabin is rustic but cozy .

 Join Jerry for a 2 week canoe trip starting at Caribou Falls Power dam, travelling to the southern boundary of Woodland Caribou park (Sydney Lake) and then returning to the power dam launch site.
