Doris Orchyk is organizing a visit to a Hutterite Colony, west of Elie. Visit will take place from 9 a.m. to aprox 1 p.m, lunch included. If you have any dietary issues, please bring your own lunch. There will be a small collection taken for this and there may also be an opportunity to buy goods and crafts.

Combine a bike ride and lunch with a visit to the "Guffleworfs" - imaginative, amusing creations of people made out of sticks by Len Van Roon, a Charleswood resident. Leave from Varsity View SportsPlex at 9:45 a.m. to bike the Harte Trail to his place. After enjoying the Guffleworfs, bike to lunch - place to be determined. Options available for those who do not wish to bike.

Cycle to St. Adolphe from South Winnipeg. Cycle past the U of M, King's Park, along Cloutier Trail, through St. Norbert and along Red River Rd to St. Adolphe, with lunch at the Darakeh Restaurant.

Meet at the MTC Box Office door at 10 a.m. for a backstage tour. Note: stair climbing is involved. Tour lasts aprox. 1 hour, afterwards, we will walk to the Free Press News Cafe or elsewhere in the Exchange District for lunch. Pre-registration by Oct 3 is required, max 20 people.
40 km's of rolling, forested, well groomed, sheltered trails and usually excellent snow. Warming huts too. Stay overnight at the Red Coat Inn in Boissevain.

24km's of skating and classic ski trails of varying difficulty, from easy to difficult. Easier trails are toward the east side, more difficult trails and hills to the west; central warming hut plus a new clubhouse at the trail head.
NOTE: rated 2-4
7km's on easy sakting and classic trails on the Pinawa Golf Course; 40km's of classic trails of varying levels of difficulty in Canadian Shield, forested trails and warming huts. An easy ski on the Golf Course is possible for a leisurely group. The Pinawa Club is right at the trail head.

Portion West of Morden has15-20km's of trails, hilly, with warming huts; the Burwalde Ski Trails (5-10km's) on Highway 3 between Carman and Morden is flat.

Have lunch at Amma's Tea Room and tour the Icelandic Museum (admission $3-6) before returning. Option for someone else to lead hike in/around Gimli, possibly meeting up for lunch.
