The presentation will give an overview of the whale species found in the Canadian Arctic waters, with emphasis on the year-round Arctic residents, including Northern Manitoba belugas. I will talk about the general ecology and conservation of those species and cover some of the challenges that they have experienced historically or that they may experience in the future.
