Join Al and Ken to do day cycles in the area of Itasca State Park in  Minnesota. It contains the headwaters of the Mississippi River. It is about 400 kilometres from Winnipeg . Overnight we would stay in a hostel where cost is about $ 30 US a night . Passport required to cross the Canada -US Border. 

An autumn hike through southeast Manitoba along shorter trails that all culminate in Ste. Agathe (ca. 10-12 km.) with its fall dinner. For Nature Manitoba members only. Registration commences September 29.

Hike for about 10-12 kms. around the Interlake, then onto Gunton for its fall dinner. Registration opens September 21. For Nature Manitoba members only.

Meeting place is at Red River Coop Parking lot at Fermor Ave  ( Transcanada Hwy) at Southdale Shopping Mall at 9 am . We will hke for about 2 hours in and 2 hours back . Bring water, lunch and apprpriate clothing and footwear . Trail is in Whiteshell Provincial Park so driver should have provincial park pass . 

Hike throughout Birds Hill Provincial Park in this afternoon/evening excursion to salute the winter solstice. Then partake in an outdoor potluck BBQ in the park. Registration commences December 14.

This winter hike encompasses Kilcona Park and the Harbouview Recreational Complex for about 8-10 km. After the hike there will be a potluck at your hike leader's home. Registration opens January 5. For Nature Manitoba members only.

Enjoy a 7-8 KM walk on the trails of St. Vital Park and the surrounding area.

TRIP IS NOW FULL - This 2 day trip to Mantario cabin by cross country ski covers roughly 20 kilometres each way in the non-motorized backcountry zone of Whiteshell Provincial Park. Participants must have all necessary equipment, be capable of skiing the distance, and prepared for windy and cold winter conditions. The group skis out Saturday, overnights at the cabin, and returns Sunday.

Meet at McDonalds at 2027 Pembina Hwy close to Bishop Grandin west side of Pembina Hwy at 10 am . Hike at Kings Park in Fort Richmond area . 

Meet at 10 am at Red River Coop Parking lot on Fermor Ave in Southdale close to the Fermor Ave of parking lot . We will hike for about 2 hours in area across from Seine River . Parking area chosen because it has room and we will start there , Dress and wear shoes for weather.

Meeting place is at Starbucks located on St Anne's Road at Southglen Shopping Centre at 10 am .

Meet at 10 am at Perkins parking lot at Lagimodière Blvd and Regent Avenue .Car poll will be organized. Drivers need MB park pass . Possibility of lunch at Birds Hill stable .
