Family Nature Club invites all nature nuts ages 8-13 (accompanied by a parent/guardian/caregiver) to come explore Bunn's Creek Centennial Park. Please make sure to dress for the weather as we will meet rain or shine!  Feel free to bring binoculars and field guides if you like.

Location: Oak Hammock Marsh is located 20 kilometers north of Winnipeg between Stonewall and Selkirk.

Join Roger for a leisurely hike around the East and West beaches of Grand Beach including the spirit walk in Grand Beach Provincial Park. Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing and water and a lunch . Driver would require a provincial park pass . Meet at 9 am in parking lot close to R & R Restaurant ( formerly Perkins )  at Lagimodière and Regent ( northwest corner) 

Hike McGillivary Falls trail in Whiteshell Provincial Park . Bring appropriate footwear , clothing , hat and sunscreen . Bring water and lunch .

Meet at 9 am at R&R restaurant parking lot ( formerly Perkins) at Lagimodière( Hwy 59) and Regent . Carpooling will be arranged .

Driver will need provincial parks pass . 

Please join Roger to hike from Victoria Beach to Elk Island . To cross channel bathing suits should be warn . If water levels are too high crossing will not be done. Hike could be at intermediate for those wanting to hike more on Elk Island . Bring appropriate clothing, footwear , sunscreen, hat , lunch and water.

Location / Time: Meet in the parking lot at Grant Ave and Chalfont Road at 1:00 PM.

Description: Walk the paths in the Assiniboine Forest in Charleswood.

Distance:  Approximately 5 to 6 km.

Bring: Your name tag and weather appropriate clothing.

Location / Time: Meet along the east shoulder of Raleigh Street (facing north) just past Pritchard Farm Road at 10:00 AM. There aren't any washrooms at the trailhead.

Location / Time: Meet at Raglan Road and Wolseley Ave. Start walking at 10:30.

Location / Time: Meet in the main parking lot at Beaudry Provincial Park at 1:00. A Manitoba Parks vehicle permit is required. The hike begins promptly at 1:15.

Hike along Bunn's Creek in North Kildonan . Meet at 10 am at Bunn's Creek Centennial Park on McIvor at 10 am. Bring water and dress for winter and wear appropriate footwear for winter conditions. 

Hike along Sturgeon Creek . Meet at parking lot at Grant's Mill at 10 am . Location is just west of Grace Hospital on north side of Portage Avenue . 

Hike in Whiittier Park and along Seine River ( possibly on Seine River if conditions allow it ) . Meet at St Joseph Street close to Fort Gibraltar at 10 am . Bring water , Dress for winter and wear appropriate footwear .

Hike the east end of the Centennial Trail beginning at McGillivray Falls in Whiteshell Provinicial Park, about 4 hours hike duration with a lunch break.  Much of this route is on glacier-rounded granite bedrock.  [intermediate]
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear; bring water and lunch.
