Location / Time:  Meet in McDonald’s at Leila & McPhillips for a 9:15 AM departure.

Description:  Walk the interpretive trail through Hecla Village.  Hike the scenic lakeside trails to a lighthouse and lookouts.

Total Distance:  About 8 KM

Bring:  Lunch, snacks and sufficient water.  After the hike enjoy dinner at the Lakeview Hecla Resort.

Location / Time: Meet at the Transcona Museum, 141 Regent Avenue West, at 9:45 AM. There is street parking around the museum, and bicycle parking and a transit stop in front of the museum.

Location / Time: Meet on the hill across from the Esso gas station in St Adolphe at 9:45 AM. The hike starts at 10:00 AM and is 1.5 hours long.

Join Roger for hike on trails along the Whitemouth River south of Transcanada Highway near Hadashville.

Meet at 9 am at parking lot beside McDonald's and Coop Foodstore on Fermor Ave and Lakewood Boulevard in Southdale part of Winnipeg .

Dress for the weather with proper footwear . Bring water and a lunch .

Carpooling will be arranged and driver should have valid provincial park pass. 

Location: Camp Amisk, 4394 Waverley St (across from La Barrière Park).

Location / Time: Meet at the St Norbert Community Centre parking lot, 3450 Pembina Highway at 10:30 AM.

Location: Swistun Family Heritage Park on Birds Hill Road (previously known as Silver Springs Park).

Time / Location: Meet at 10:15 AM at the Tremblay/Edgewood pedestrian bridge. Start walking at 10:30.

Location: Birds Hill Provincial Park. The exact meeting location is not yet known. A Manitoba Parks vehicle permit is not required in 2025.

Time: Meet at 9:45 AM. The guided walk is from 10:00 AM to noon.

Location: Meet in the main parking lot at La Barriere Park.

Time: 8:30 AM to ~11:00 AM

Description: We will walk through the park looking and listening for birds, with a particular focus on the spring migrants which should be peaking at this time.

Time / Location: Meet at 10:45 AM in the parking lot in front of the Pavilion.

Description: Walk an approx 7.5 km loop on the roads at Assiniboine Park.
The walk will take approx 75 to 90 minutes at a moderate and safe pace.

Location / Time: Meet at Marj Edey Park, 4230 Ridgewood Ave, at 10:45 AM. Start walking at 11:00. The Varsity View Sportsplex doesn't open until 4:00, so its washrooms are not available.

Location / Time: Meet in the McDonald’s on Fermor by the Southdale Mall by 9:15am.  We’ll carpool to Falcon Lake.

Description: This is an easy hike of about 13km out-and-back.  We’ll see lakes and hopefully signs of spring!  Bring water and lunch/snacks, sunscreen.  Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, hat recommended.

Walk in town of Pinawa for about 5 kilometres on Ironwood Trail . There is a possibility of lunch afterwards at Pinawa Golf Course.

Dress appropriately, bring hat, water , snacks and sunscreen .

Meet at 9a.m at Southdale Shopping Centre along Fermor close to McDonalds  for carpooling. 

Location / Time: Meet at Oak Hammock Marsh parking lot (located 20 kilometers north of Winnipeg between Stonewall and Selkirk). Please arrive at 10:00 AM and be ready to bird at 10:10 AM..

Join Roger for a hike at Delta Beach along the shores of Lake Manitoba, Bring water, sunscreen, hat and lunch. Dress appropriately including adequate footwear .

Meeting place is at Tim Horton's parking lot at 3649 Portage Ave .
